Job description
We are working with a leading automotive distributor to hire an Technical Support Specialist. You will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring high service standards on behalf of the dealer network.
The Role:
- Provide technical support to dealerships, addressing enquiries and resolving issues through various communication channels
- Offer onsite assistance, ensuring adherence to technical standards and efficient system use
- Collaborate with Training Department to identify and bridge technical skill gaps
- Conduct dealership assessments, focusing on operations, vehicle conditions and facility standards
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders for technical issue resolution and service quality enhancement
- Investigate and document technical problems, supporting customer satisfaction initiatives
- Advise internal teams on technical matters, supporting cross-departmental excellence
- Lead educational campaigns, prepare presentations and engage in professional development activities
Job requirements
- 5+ years in a technical support role within the automotive sector in Ireland
- Proficiency in vehicle electronics, diesel engine technology and troubleshooting
- Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new technical systems.
- Full clean driver's license
